I want to participate! How do I sign up?

We recommend an adult in your family follows the easy steps below. If you have questions, check with the local library!

  1. Register for the Summer Reading Program by downloading the Beanstack app and entering your information.
  2. Open the app and click undefinedFind your school or library.undefined Choose Cabarrus County Library and follow the login instructions.
  3. You can also use the web version! Just follow the instructions here: Cabarrus County libraries' Beanstack page.

Participate in the Summer Reading Program at the libraries in Cabarrus County!

It's easy to join the Summer Reading Program at your local library! It works through the Beanstack app, so make sure you follow the directions (look to the left) to download the app and get started. Here's how it works:

  • Download the Beanstack app, of course!
  • Log your reading!

    • Click the plus sign at the bottom of the app and choose "Reading". You can search a book title (or scan its barcode) or log minutes without a title.

    • Log minutes for today or enter another date.

    • Select "Done" and celebrate your reading achievement! Easy peasy!

    • P.S. The plus sign is also where you enter an activity or book review.

  • Track your progress, connect with friends...

  • Join some awesome FREE activities at your local library branch...

  • Earn prizes!
