Mental Health Services & Interventions (New Law)

Dear Parents and Legal Guardians:
A new law has gone into effect that now requires advanced consent for the delivery of non-emergency mental health services and interventions delivered by school counselors, school social workers, school psychologists, and school nurses. The new law (SB 49 ) requires annual written notification regarding school mental health services and/or when students change schools.
