HiRMS EXCEEDED Growth in SY25-26!

Hello, Maverick families.

Each year, most NC schools receive a growth index measuring how much students grow in an academic year. For middle schools, this score is comprised of End-of-Grade (EOG) tests for reading, math, and 8th-grade science. An index above 2.0 means the school exceeds growth.

For 2025-2026, Hickory Ridge Middle School exceeded growth with a 7.65 index! We also earned an A grade for the third year in a row! Our score was #1 out of all Cabarrus County middle schools! It also puts us in the top 2% of all schools in North Carolina.
